Directional Drilling

Directional drilling is a type of precision boring which allows you to bore in any direction that allows cable or pipe to be laid at any depth under roads, railway lines, tram lines, rivers, nature strips, rock and other terrain without disturbing the ground above it or the services along the way.

HDS is capable of Directional Drilling 50mm to 600mm diameter in clay/sand and up to 250mm diameter in rock.
Our drilling crews have vast experience and knowledge in Directional Drilling industry for Gas, Electrical, Telecommunications and Sewer/Storm water bores on grade. With the ability to complete multi pipe installations; example: Electrical and Communications in clay and rock with a variety of conduit sizes available.

Trenching

Trenching is an open cut process used to install infrastructure to meet legal Queensland and Australian standards for asset installation and rectification works.

HDS trenching crews have a broad range of knowledge, experience, and machinery to complete a variety of tasks/jobs as per client requirements and industry standards. HDS trenching crews have to ability to excavate in clay and rock.

Cable Hauling

 In today’s fast growing and expanding telecommunications network, Cable Hauling plays an important role in the installation and integration of new and existing infrastructure.

HDS has experience in both Copper and Fibre hauling installation.

Pit and Pipe Installation

Pit and Pipe construction is the installation of conduits and pipes through a series of pits and are required to connect telecommunications to your home, building or estate.

HDS provide a comprehensive Pit and Pipe installation service including trenching and labour to carry out your task/project requirements.

Pit and Pipe work is often also conducted on existing infrastructure to maintain its integrity or repair any damages that may occur.
